Fishing trip based in Gap, a town nestled at the foothills of the French Alps in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Enjoy guided fishing excursions for brown trout, Arctic char, rainbow trout, and brook trout in the Écrins National Park. All of this in collaboration with the local guide company Fly Fishing France.

Species: Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, and Brook Trout.

Time of year: April 1st to September 30th

Rivers: Guil River, the Drac River, the Durance River, and other rivers in the Hautes-Alpes Department.

Transfers: Grenoble: 1 hour 50 minutes; Lyon: 3 hours; Marseille: 5 hours.

Number of anglers per guide: Maximum 2 (multiple guides available for large groups).

Accommodation (operations center): Hotel Les Olivades, Gap.

Fishing equipment: All necessary materials are provided for the guided fishing activity.

GUIDED FLY FISHING DAY & ALL-INCLUSIVE FLY FISHING PACKAGES:

The angler should travel in a rental car to the town of Gap. We also offer transfer services from Grenoble, Lyon, and Marseille airports to the hotel.

You can opt for a guided fishing day or choose our all-inclusive packages (Transfer + hotel + guided fishing).

The guided fishing day begins at 7:30 a.m., with hotel pickup. The activity lasts for 8 hours or more.

Arrival at airport and transfer to the Lodge.

  •  Hotel Pickup: 8:30 a.m. transfer by vehicle to the fishing area.
  • Morning guided fly fishing.
  • Picnic lunch: 2 p.m. picnic lunch by the riverbank with beverages included.
  • Afternoon guided fly fishing.
  • Return to the hotel.
  • 8 a.m.: Breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
  • 9 a.m.: Transfer to the airport.
